our beginning
We started our business nearly three decades ago.
After a fifteen-year apprenticeship learning from the industry’s best, we decided it was time to make our own mark. Taking advantage of the rapid and widespread growth of the solar water heater industry worldwide, we identified an opportunity for a new business model. Following the lead set by the automotive industry, we set about tapping into the output of the biggest and best international solar and hot water system manufacturers.
Forming alliances with premier solar companies located in countries as diverse as Holland, Australia, China, Germany & Italy and focusing on designing the best and most appropriate systems – and only directly manufacturing those items and components that could not be better sourced elsewhere, we’ve designed a range of solar hot water and heat pump systems suited to Australian conditions.

Energie Group is a company with a long pedigree.
We started in the solar water heater business over 28 years ago working with one of the pioneering companies in the field. We learnt our craft well and over time, we came to understand what was good and what wasn’t, what worked and what didn’t, what would last and what wouldn’t.
We formed CapAus, an alliance with one of Europe’s premier solar companies and designed a range of solar hot water systems suited to Australian conditions. Over time we extended our portfolio and expanded into the international market. In November 2019, after three years research, we introduced a range of heat pump water heaters under the Enviroheat brand. The Enviroheat hot water heat pump represents a leap forward in energy efficiency.
Produced by the world’s largest appliance manufacturer, the system was initially introduced into Europe over a decade ago and has proven performance in temperatures as low as -7°C.

Energie Group’s head office is conveniently located in Malaga, WA where the company has a modern, high truss warehouse close to the Tonkin Highway.
We distribute our Air Direct and Envirosun brands in Perth and the regional hub towns in Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Albany and Esperance through a 3PL provider. We have an office and warehouse in Kurnell in Sydney as well as JV partners in Brisbane and Adelaide. Manufacturing of our TS series solar HW product is done in Melbourne.
